DIRECTOR/WRITER
David Furlong, born in Mauritius, was educated in both English and French. He trained as an actor at the National Chaillot Theatre where he studied with international directors and producers including Deborah Warner. He has worked eight years as an actor and especially with Hans Peter Cloos and Jacques Livchine. He co-founded the Yanka Company in France, a group of actors who developed over three years new contemporary forms of theatre in Paris and Avignon. David is also a member of Myriad Productions in London. His recnet theatre credits include: Phagulal in Red Oleander directed by Kevin Rowntree (London), Gueule de Four in Tatouage directed by Hans Peter Cloos and the title role of Monserrat in Monserrat. David is a member of the Old Vic New Voices program.
