Story:
Pierre and Laura are a very successful and very European couple making their home in 80’s London. Margaret Thatcher, some terrible music and excessively bad taste are all the rage. Into their lives come Judith and Eric, a couple from very different backgrounds to Pierre and Laura but with whom the pair find they are inextricably linked. When the four arrange to meet over dinner it soon becomes apparent that the links between them are not going to create a harmonious evening. Will they all survive the conversational minefields of vegetarianism, politics and advertising ? And exactly how does Bernard fit into this picture ?
